Claims big prize in Poker Showdown scratch-off game
A 57-year-old Washington County resident was the lucky winner of a $10,000 prize in the Maryland Lottery’s Poker Showdown scratch-off game.
The loyal Hagerstown player didn’t win anything in the 7 Card Stud section on the top of the $10 ticket. Her luck appeared on the bottom portion of the scratch-off, where her final line of cards contained a straight flush. That beat the dealer’s full house and gave her a $10,000 payoff!
Poker Showdown launched in August, and three of its $100,000 top prizes are still waiting to be found at Lottery retailers across the state, along with 14 $10,000 prizes. The latest lucky winner bought her ticket at Summit Liquors at 1003 West Washington Street in Hagerstown.
